CD-1 mice (n = 6) were treated with UP1306 (300 mg/kg, 200 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg) and ibuprofen (200 mg/kg) 30 min before intraperitoneal administration of acetic acid solution (0.7% in 0.9% NaCl) at 10 mL/kg. The numbers of abdominal muscle constriction together with stretch were counted cumulatively over the period of 30 min. Data are expressed as mean ± standard deviation
